Welcome to Knoxville

We’re so glad you’re visiting Knoxville! We are always happy to see out-of-town visitors in the Peace Tree taproom. Our bartenders are incredibly helpful and can tell you about all of our beers in detail. From our gold medal Blonde Fatale and Get a Little Hazy to our rotating taproom brews and exclusive releases, we’ve got an option for everyone! We’re also family friendly, so feel free to bring the kids in for a root beer. Interested in learning how we brew our beer? Email our taproom manager to sign up for a brewery tour!

Knoxville is a beautiful town full of quaint shops, exceptional eateries and fun things to do. Here are just a few places to consider during your stay. And we’re just getting started! We’ll continue to add to this list, so check back.

Looking for a place to stay? We recommend Cobblestone Hotel right here in Knoxville.

Hungry? In our taproom, we’ve got a variety of snacks like charcuterie plates and popcorn. We frequently have food trucks as well. Plus you are more than welcome to order in Fast Freddy’s Pizza or Wacko’s, or bring in food from any of our other great restaurants in Knoxville.

Downtown Diner is a couple doors down and always worth a visit when you’re in town. And just down the street you’ll find Casa Grande, A&P Pub, One Eleven, Hometown Meats and Deli and Coffee Connection. Then swing over to Kone Korner for ice cream!

There’s no shortage of things to do while your in the area.  You can spend the day on Lake Red Rock or check out the Competine Trail. Visit Marion County Park, just one of Knoxville’s parks. If you enjoy golfing, try Pine Knolls Golf Club. And new to Knoxville, you can really get adventurous and try skydiving with Des Moines Skydivers!

If weather isn’t on your side, there’s plenty to do indoors. We’ve got some fun shops to visit, including Raiment and Candi’s Flowers. Or you could catch a movie at Grand Theater.

Whether you’re in town for races, business or vacation, Knoxville has a lot to offer! Welcome to town, and enjoy your stay!
