Since our inception in 2009, Peace Tree has won two prestigious, gold medal beer awards and a Gold Green Brewery certification all while maintaining a singular focus on delivering high quality, hand-crafted beers and sodas. These awards are important to us in that they remind us that our drive to create great beer and do it as sustainably as we can will always be at the core of who we are.
We put a lot of care into each beer we create. It’s why we’ve won gold medals at two of the world’s largest and most prestigious beer competitions. Blonde Fatale earned gold at the World Beer Cup® and Get a Little Hazy won gold at the Great American Beer Festival®.
In 2021, Get a Little Hazy won a prestigious gold medal in the Juicy or Hazy Strong Pale Ale category at the Great American Beer Festival®—a festival that’s recognized as the world’s largest professional beer competition. That year, it had a record-breaking 9,680 entries from 2,192 breweries, making it bigger and more competitive than ever.
Why is it prestigious? The competition had 97 beer categories covering 175 different beer styles. Judging took place in 34 sessions over 17 days with 170 judges evaluating entries from all 50 states plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
In 2014, Blonde Fatale won a Gold medal World Beer Cup Award® in the Belgian-Style Blonde Ale or Pale Ale category. This stellar beer stood out on a world-wide stage and has continued to be a fan favorite for our customers.
We are proud to hold a Gold-Level Iowa Green Brewery Certificate for outstanding resource management and energy efficiency. From our custom air exchange system to the use of local ingredients, we are constantly striving to use sustainable practices that reduce environmental impact.
